RJ Devick CFP®

CEO, Partner, Financial Advisor

RJ is CEO of Bond&Devick and has been a dedicated Financial Advisor for over 25 years.  RJ specializes in investment management, retirement planning, and sustainable, responsible, and impact investing. He began his career with Penny Bond & Associates in 1993, became a partner in 2001, and took on the role of sole owner of Bond and Devick Financial Network in 2006. RJ is frequently invited to share his investment insights and portfolio strategies with other professionals, particularly on integrating sustainable, responsible, and impact investing into portfolio construction. He has also served in various capacities for the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota, where he was a past board member.

Deeply committed to the Twin Cities community, RJ actively participates in numerous local charitable organizations. Notably, he has been instrumental in establishing two annual fundraisers for the People Serving People homeless shelter. On a global scale, RJ and his wife, Teresa, have played a crucial role in supporting and overseeing two schools in southern Ethiopia (Hosanna and Ottoro), where their daughter, Aster, was born. They are also recognized as Alight Changemakers.

In 2008, the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts honored RJ with the Alumni of Notable Achievement award for his outstanding service to the University, his clients, and the community. In 2014, he received Cetera's prestigious "Quality of Life" award, acknowledging his dedication to his profession, clients, and volunteer activities. RJ has also served on the University of Minnesota Adoption Medicine Clinic Advisory Board and the People Serving People's Board of Directors. Currently, he serves on the board of the ACLU of Minnesota.

Outside of his professional life, RJ enjoys traveling, working on social justice issues, and spending quality time with his family.

Andy Feterl CFP®

Partner, Financial Advisor

Andy has been a valued part of Bond&Devick Wealth Partners since 2007, bringing over 25 years of experience as a financial advisor. As a Principal Shareholder and Partner since 2011, Andy also served on the original Bond&Devick Board of Directors for 16 years.

Andy specializes in working with high-net-worth families, focusing on generational wealth transfers through customized estate, tax, and investment strategies. As the firm's business owner specialist, he collaborates with business owners and their advisors on exit strategies, often incorporating retirement plan services.

In addition to his work with families and business owners, Andy provides investment advice to several nonprofit organizations, attending their board meetings as a financial expert.

Andy is a past President and Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota and has taught financial planning and tax courses for several universities' CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation programs. He holds a degree in accounting from Northern State University in South Dakota, which has provided him with a strong foundation in tax planning.

Outside of his professional commitments, Andy enjoys watching and participating in various sports, with a particular passion for golf.

Kristine Bisanz

Partner

Kristine has been with Bond & Devick since 2005. She joined the Board of Directors in 2008 and was named partner in 2011. Kristine manages Bond&Devick’s marketing, human resources, corporate finances, and client communications, with a special emphasis on their website, market updates, and social media. She also coordinates volunteer activities and client events and serves as the Client Care Director, supporting clients during times of transition.

Kristine is a member of TeamWomenMN and has served as a Mentor in their Mentoring Program. She is currently on Impact Hub's Leadership Task Force, focusing on supporting and raising awareness for local B Corps.

Kristine graduated from the College of St. Benedict with degrees in Business Management and Psychology. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys decorating, traveling, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Rob Caverly CFP®, CSRIC®, CRPC™

President, Partner

Rob serves as President of Bond&Devick, where he is passionate about helping clients build financial confidence through personalized, comprehensive planning strategies and education. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has advanced to the Board of Directors in 2017, Partner in 2018, and President in 2023. Rob oversees day-to-day business while ensuring the team has the resources needed to deliver exceptional client service.

With experience across the business landscape, particularly in financial services, Rob works with our team to bring practical knowledge and strategic insight to complex financial situations. His commitment to client education has helped numerous families navigate important financial transitions with confidence.

Rob graduated from Bethel University with a degree in Management and Marketing. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, he obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2016, followed by his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ and Chartered SRI Counselor™ designations, reflecting his expertise in retirement and sustainable investing strategies.

When not serving clients, Rob enjoys games —particularly soccer, football, board games, and golf—both as a participant and spectator. An avid reader and accomplished traveler who has visited all 50 states, Rob cherishes time spent with friends and family above all else.

Teresa Devick

Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Teresa has been part of the Bond&Devick Team since 2006. She is their Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for all compliance and supervisory functions. She ensures the firm is compliant with the laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, and keeps B&D up-to-date on all changes. Teresa is also our technology point person, overseeing all computers, software, and network systems, including disaster recovery. Cybersecurity and protecting our clients’ information are her top priorities.

Teresa is passionate about several service organizations, including Feeding America, Save the Children, and Spirit of America. She has worked alongside Alight (formerly The American Refugee Committee), where she spearheaded efforts to set up a computer lab in a Rwandan refugee camp and supported their work to create a Shelter Depot in a Ugandan camp. She also volunteers with the International Institute of MN to set up homes for new immigrants. Finally, she is on the Board for CROSS Services food shelf and runs their annual pickleball tournament.

Outside of work and service, Teresa enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially at their cabin in Northern Minnesota and her hometown of Albuquerque.
